Happy Holidays, Everyone! This is the season of love, joy, and togetherness…right? Well, it is...for many reasons, but with this comes seasonal stress! Before the holidays actually arrive, many of us are frantic about the following:
Money for gifts
Finding the “perfect” gifts
Wanting everyone to be happy
Joy should not be so exhausting!
Part of the exhaustion stems from transforming into thieves, allowing ourselves to steal our own joy. The good news is that we can CHOOSE to make things less stressful. There are ways to make the season, and each day, exactly as we should…full of love, joy and shared through togetherness!
The keys are how we perceive things, how well we express and cope with challenges (there will always be challenges), where we choose to place importance, and of course…gratitude.
When we are able to truly keep things in perspective, we alleviate self-imposed pressures. First, consider where you are placing importance. Are you more concerned about perception based on the gifts you give and receive, or are you focused on the love and consideration infused in the exchanges? Gifts are loving gestures and should be free of judgment and expectation.
Create a monetary budget. If we purchase gifts that cause financial burden, this energy will be attached to the gifts we give. You want to make sure you’re giving in LOVE, free of stress and upset. The energy behind our gifts is more important than the physical gifts themselves.
Next, consider the challenges you face. How do you manage? How do you express your feelings in relation to challenges? Explosive and impulsive behaviors are not compatible with resolve. Remember, feelings are meant to be felt. The key is responsible expression. After releasing the energies of your feelings, then you can make decisions that are heart-centered, and void of ego. Practice.
Finally, remember to remain thankful for all things! Give thanks that you are able to give and receive – in any capacity. Don’t forget…what you give and receive is less important than love and intention. Be thankful for the people with whom you get to share the holidays, as well as the days that follow.
Our vibrations are shared and contagious. If other’s lack gratitude, do not let it rob you of yours! Stand firm in love; others will follow. Give, receive and LIVE with loving vibrations, everyday!
Peace and Blessings!
