I am an eternal student of life, on a quest for understanding and enlightenment. On this journey, I am dedicated to self-healing, expansion of consciousness, deepening compassion and sharing light with others.
As you can guess from the services I provide, I have studied various modalities of energy healing, and I continue to study as I step into the role of teacher. To me, this is very important. It is imperative that I continue working on myself, and self-healing, while guiding and assisting other’s on their paths of self-healing and awareness.
In January, I decided to expand my path by taking Yoga Teacher Training (Raja Yoga). Many have asked why I chose this training, with my focus being Reiki and energy healing. Well, that’s exactly why. I want to enhance my self-healing techniques, and as always, share with others. But more specifically, I was drawn to yoga because of focus on the breath.
As we know, without breath, there is no life-force. Our breath is the magical gift that sustains life within this human form. Knowing this, it became obvious to me that studying and gaining clearer understanding of the breath would enrich my practice and deepen my connection to self and all that exists.
In yoga, there is so much more than the breath, but there is a strong connection to and awareness of our life-force. Through practices of Pranayama, we learn to feel, control, and allow the breath. We become participants in our cleansing and healing. We connect to the energetic forces around and within, heightening our awareness and spirituality.
Beyond the breath, there are the asanas (postures), which prepare us for meditation (stillness). These combinations of yogic elements promote body-mind wellness, which aligns with my focus on energetic transformations, including Reiki.
While I’m still in teacher-training, I will be offering free yoga sessions. Check the calendar for dates and times, or sign up for my newsletter for all updates. In the near future, yoga will be an additional option in personal one-to-one sessions with me. Remember, our breath cares for us, so we should care for our breath! These bodies are vessels for our life-force, and should be cared for as well! Namaste!
Today, and all days to come, be well. Breathe.
Until next time…
Peace and Blessings!
