Welcome to Meditation Monday! This week's meditation is about reflection, giving thanks and letting go of 2012.
We have all experienced so much change this year. Why? Aside from change being constant, we are part of the current planetary alignment, and we are realigning with ourselves.
For many, 2012 was about release, in every form. The letting go, whether realized or not, has given us space to step deeper into our authenticity. We are no longer clinging to what’s familiar for sake of comfort…we have been shaken out of and/or torn away from comforts. And here we are…at the end of more than a year, but the end of a way of being.
Today, I encourage you to go within and reflect on these last twelve months. What have you let go of (things, relationships, ideas, etc)? What changes/shifts have you noticed? If you were forced into change, how did you grow from the experience? Regardless of how tough this year may have been, what have been the benefits? Are you stronger, wiser, or moving in a new direction that’s more reflective of your soul (core being)?
How many people have you heard say, “I’m glad this year is almost over!” Well, yes, it is…but it won’t be any easier as we move into 2013 unless we choose to make good of the changes that occurred in 2012. Yes, change can be scary and uncomfortable, but as we discussed earlier this year, the influence of our perception is key. We also have the power to lighten our energetic loads by loving ourselves and remaining in gratitude. These practices will also ease our transitions.
This week we are going to remain reflective, with focus on wisdom. Join me for Wisdom Wednesday.
Until next time...
Peace and Blessings!
