Welcome to Freedom Friday! This week we explored physical endings and the journey of completion. Today we are going to explore ways to accept change, allowing ourselves to appreciate and see the beauty within endings.
As we discussed earlier this week, endings are not necessarily completions. In fact, endings are merely transformational states, supporting evolution, progression, and leading us towards new possibilities. With this in mind, it is clear that we can learn to accept change, appreciating what we learned, experienced, and the blessings of new gifts on the horizon.
A key factor to this acceptance is perspective. Of course, it is common for us to become comfortable and familiar with the way things were, clinging to the past because we know it, but we have to let go in order to move forward. If we can remember that change provides opportunities for growth, and that living in the past removes us from our present, we can ease into acceptance of transformation. Without acceptance, we block and/or prevent reception of our gifts, connection to self, and growth.
Today, I encourage you to embrace any current changes in your life. Look for the lessons and gifts within change. Stand in gratitude for what was, and know that you’re supported and being guided for what’s to come. Life is, in fact, a series of changes. We are transforming. By seeing the beauty within the in’s and outs, up’s and downs, this journey called life becomes more enriching!
Until next time…
Peace and Blessings!
