Welcome to Wisdom Wednesday! Earlier this week we discussed the gifts we receive in energetic exchanges with people we have chosen to have in our lives. Today’s discussion remains in this area, with focus on gratitude.
We have all had moments where we’ve been stuck in some sort of negative energy that overshadows our gratitude. The key is knowing that the overshadowing can only occur if we allow it. To remain in a state of gratitude, we have to practice. This can be as simple as reminding ourselves, daily, of what we are grateful for.
Today we are going to focus on the gratitude we feel for the people in our lives. We have chosen to share our journeys with the people around us, and there is always reason. As we discussed on Monday, the main reason is growth. Even the people in our lives that trigger us are there for a reason. We learn and have opportunities to expand our consciousness through all of our interactions.
In some situations, we feel our relationships are lacking, or that the other person needs to change. We have to remember that there may be a lesson, and the only change we are responsible for is our own. Remember, when others trigger us, it is often because they are reflecting back a quality that we have and are unhappy with, or they possess a quality we lack and would like to have. Either way, we can be grateful that a lesson is being presented, and that particular people are in our lives to illuminate lessons for us.
When we acknowledge the qualities we admire and appreciate in others, we raise our energetic vibrations, as we are in a state of gratitude. Even our challenging relationships have elements that we can appreciate, and again, it’s about looking for the lesson. We choose our lessons, as well as the people around us. If we remain in loving vibrations, the lessons can be learned with more ease than upset.
Friendship is one of the most valuable assets in our lives, and we have the power to change anything we are dissatisfied with, as long as the change happens within ourselves. Today and everyday, acknowledge the gifts you receive through your relationships. The people in our lives may come and go, so it is important to give thanks while they are present.
Until next time…
Peace and Blessings!
