“Our paths are created through beliefs and choices!” – Yolanda
Welcome to Meditation Monday! Over the weekend, we practiced living in the now; being present. This week we are going to explore the paths we create and take ownership of our journeys.
Where do our journeys begin? The paths we take begin in our minds. We begin manifesting through thought and beliefs. We actualize through choice. We can say we want just about anything, and the opportunity will most likely present itself, but whether we walk through an open door is our choice.
The issue is that we often fail to realize there’s an open door in the first place, or we do recognize it but slam the door shut. Why? Sometimes it’s fear and sometimes we don’t recognize the opportunity because it isn’t presented as we envisioned. Perhaps the door is red, and we are waiting to see green. Regardless, our chosen path is there, just beyond the doorway. To move forward, we have to look beyond what we think we see, and go inward to view our beliefs.
Today we are going to consider a path we would like to take, or focus on the path we are currently traveling. How did we get here, or how do we create a new path?
First, we should acknowledge that we are exactly where we are now because of choice, or a series of choices. Of course, we can say that some circumstances are not of our choosing, which is true, although there are times that we do not recognize how our thoughts have manifested our reality. For example, if you’re constantly complaining about your job and wishing you were working elsewhere, this will probably manifest without your physical action. Your words carry the vibrations, the universe sets it in motion, and perhaps you end up laid-off. So first things, first…be mindful of what you’re manifesting through thoughts or vocally.
Now, come to a space where you can be completely honest with yourself. What do you think you want, and are your actions in alignment with your want? If you want to be an actor, you should take acting lessons. If you want to become a marathon runner, begin training, even if beginning is walking. The steps we take lead us in a particular direction. The issue is that we have become so familiar with instantaneous results, that we usually bypass opportunities that require real effort.
As a mentioned above, another factor of path creation is over-coming fear. Often times, we simply need to push past ourselves, beyond our comfort zones, in order to find true comfort. We grow and learn when we can overcome our fears. When we move past fear, we also expand our paths, creating new opportunities for ourselves.
So, again, where are you today and how did you get here? Can you see how you chose this path, on some level? If you want to redirect, what steps do you have to take to align with your desired path? Remember, it all begins in thought. When we believe it, we can see it, and so it will come to be. What do you believe? Do your beliefs conflict with what you’re trying to see?
If you want to reveal and overcome personal blocks, leading to a path you would like to explore, I offer Distant Sessions to assist you. In these sessions, we will discuss your beliefs and discover options to move forward.
This week we are going to continue exploring our paths, with focus on our quest. Join me for Wisdom Wednesday.
Until next time...
Peace and Blessings!
