“Energies are ours, to accept and release…” – Yolanda
Welcome to Freedom Friday! This week we explored the shifts of our consciousness and influences of our perceptions. Today we will consider the weight created in energetic exchanges with others, and the freedom of lightening the load.
Experiences linger within us…shaping our views and planting seeds for how we function. Memories that bring us joy, or left us heartbroken, influence our triggers, responsiveness, and/or reactions. The experiences we’re talking about today are those that have left an energetic weight, or the feeling of heaviness on our hearts.
Sometimes we hold onto the weight because we’ve found comfort in it…it has become familiar, and often times we use the weight as a defense mechanism. Think back to that ex that hurt you so deeply, causing you to become hardened, unable to love freely. You carry the weight as a reminder; never be so vulnerable again. Then there’s the friend that betrayed you, leaving you cynical about friendships, and unwilling to trust others. You carry that weight, feeling you are smarter than those that share themselves so openly. There are even arguments, or disagreements, that were never resolved, but you moved forward as if you weren’t carrying the weight of frustration, or the burden of words left unspoken. The ranges of circumstances vary, and the list goes on ad nauseam. The bottom line is that these circumstances created weighted energies, and you’re left to carry the load…or are you?
There are several ways to release, but today I encourage you to try this…transform and/or shift these energies. When we are able to put ego aside, we allow ourselves to hear and see the whole truth. We create space for clarification, even the space to agree to disagree. The thing to remember is that releasing is not a way of erasing or forgetting. This is impossible, as the energy will always remain. How we manage the weight of energy is our choice.
As we discussed earlier this week, you are not the sole owner of perspective. Sometimes, we have to refer back to the situation as a whole, gaining new perspective…the other persons. Perhaps we are carrying weight that has no weight. Yes, it can be that simple.
On the other hand, the weight is valid, and the transformation of energies will be tougher. In this case, we have to look inward. This is where we have choices: forgiveness, acceptance, and finding the lessons. As I said, this can be tough, especially when the weight has become hurt or anger.
If there is particular weight that you want to work on releasing now, I offer readings where we will discuss the energy of the situation, including energetic blocks, and options to move forward.
In future events, remember that you can only be responsible for your part in energetic exchanges with others, and that their actions are reflective of their own energetic challenges. They have weights and wounding too. Just to clarify, I’m not saying that all actions are justifiable, I am saying that how we choose to negotiate the energies created in our space will either lighten the load, or pack on weight.
Until next time…
Peace and Blessings!
